HaHa !! Good Story. Black swans have been known to make real strange choices. I remember reading about one such love story in Reader's digest somewhere in the late '90s. This swan fell in love with a fisherman in Alaska. So much so that the love and affection shown by this swan actually made the fisherman's girlfrind nervous abt their relationship!! The love story had a classical tragic ending. The swan died waiting for the couple to return to Alaska after the winter. The swan went against her instincts to fly away and just kept pacing the couples' house despite the freezing weather. The RD piece was written by the fisherman's girlfriend as an ode to the swan.
